From the slow sniffers to the boisterous ball chasers, everyone can enjoy our walks in their own way. Walks aren’t just about the physical, they are also about the mental and it is incredibly important for all dogs to be able to be calm and focussed when required. So with reward based training we provide added mental stimulation to their walks too by repeatedly reinforcing their understanding of basic commands (sit/stay etc.) and practicing recall constantly on each and every walk.
With years of experience as an in-demand dog walker, I can assess your dogs needs and suitability for our group walks and I can offer a full and comprehensive range of services (including outside services). All of this will be discussed at your free consultation meeting and your dog will need to be booked for a trial walk for his/her assessment.
Group Walks
Group walks are booked for either AM (9.30-12) or PM (11.30-2.00) Monday to Friday and the walking time is 45mins-1hour. This way of booking allows me to match your dog to other dogs of the same personality and energy levels making our walks super safe and fun but also calm and controlled. Walks can be scheduled for specific days rather than 5 days a week and for term-time only if that’s what suits you best. Occasional walks can also be booked (no commitment) but these are subject to space’s being available at the time.
Solo Walks
Our solo walks are perfect for dogs who are reactive or nervous of other dogs or who have additional needs from age or injury. As with our group walks, walks can be scheduled for specific days rather than 5 days a week and for term-time only if that suits you best. Occasional walks can also be booked (no commitment) but these are subject to space’s being available. Solo walks are limited to 30mins during peak times (9.30-3.00).
Puppy Visits & Socialisation
Our puppy visits can be completely tailored to your puppy’s requirements. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, toilet breaks, clean ups, basic commands practice or a mixture we can be there when you can’t. As your pup grows we can play an active role in introducing them the world too by taking them on mini walks to experience all that village life has to offer. Local builders, bin lorries, ride on lawnmowers and strimmers… all these things can look and sound scary to puppies so making these experiences positive for them from the beginning is a great first step. We can then start short walks to socialise your pups with our other friendly dogs ready for them to join our group walks. Like our solo walks, puppy visits are limited to 30 minutes during peak times (9.30-3.00).
Pop Ins
There are many reasons why daytime walks are not what you are looking for and maybe all your dog needs is the chance to go out for the toilet and have a bit of love to break up the day. Pop ins are exactly that, pop ins, and are limited to 15 minutes during peak times (9.30-3.00).
Out Of Hours
All of our dog services are available in the evenings and at weekends by prior arrangement and are subject to availability.
